     Shaylee Wilde left Dublin to pursue a music career in Europe & America.  After three years in Europe suporting artists such as Cliff Richard,The Bachelors, The Chieftains, The Dubliner¹s and then six years in America (Chicago, Boston and Washington ) with all girl groups, Ryan's Daughters, Fiddlers Green and The Coterie Folk, Shaylee arrived in Australia.

     From her first duo Portrait with long time Irish Drover Jimmy Carroll, formed at Sydneys first Irish watering hole The Elizabethan Inn at Potts Point. Shaylee went on to play all the major clubs & pubs  along the east coast of NSW and Queensland, with bands ranging from the JanisJoplin / Bette Midler influenced Shaylee Wilde Explosion to the 80¹s style techno pop band  China Doll.

     The band secured a worldwide recording deal with RCA records, and following the success of “Atmosphere”  (a self penned rock'n'roll song) securing third place at the Yamaha World Song Contest, and a publishing deal with Warner Music.

     With the proliferation of Irish venues opening up around the countryfrom the late 80¹s, Shaylee went back to her Irish heritage and with her Shaylee Wilde Band have become one of Australia's most successful Irish bands, with ten tours to New Zealand, gigs from Cairns to Melbourne  headlining most major Irish Week celebrations in and around Sydney and for the past six years taking her “Shaylee Wilde Celtic Country Show”  to Tamworth for two weeks of sell-out concerts.

     Shaylee has been on tour in Australia with all the greats of Irish music when they tour Australia, including : Christy Moore, Brendan Grace, Paddy Reilly, Furey Bros and Hal Roach.

     Present line up include, Dublin born John Costello, former lead
guitarist with “Five for a Pound”, and Colin Greene, guest mandolin player.

 Shaylee records in her own studio in the Blue Mountains and her sixth
C.D. is due for release late November 2006.
